RENOWNED BEAUTY ANGELINA Jolie was sporting a rather unusual look on the red carpet on Monday night.
She was attending the premiere of HBO’s The Normal Heart to support Brad Pitt, who produced the TV movie.
Unfortunately, she looked a bit like she rolled in flour before she left the house.
Is this the new trend? Should we all start putting flour on our faces? Not quite.
The look wasn’t strictly a “makeup malfunction” – Angie was wearing translucent powder which is amazing for controlling shine in real life, but doesn’t come across so well under harsh paparazzi flashes.
One of the main ingredients in the powder, silica, reflects light, so it looks white in photographs.
It’s happened to quite a few celebrities before – Melissa Joan Hart, for example.
They still look better than us regular folk. Sigh.
